Required a highly specialised formula blended for a new process
being set up at their UK Plant.
Confidentiality was guaranteed by Gower. This necessitated Gower
commissioning a complete new plant to meet this demand. Much support
and expertise was enlisted from two of Gower's principal raw material
suppliers to confirm feasibility of blending the complex formula.
A project team was set up and following completion of negotiations,
an agreement was reached and within a period of 4 months the plant
was ready to produce its first trial batch.
The trial was approved and adopted as Reversible Acid. A specific
tanker barrel was also brought into Gower's transport fleet to service
the account---Total investment by Gower Chemicals approx. £100k.
