Packaging Recovery Notes (P.R.N.’s)
The introduction of "The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging
Waste) Regulations 1997" have meant that many companies have to
produce P.R.N.’s as evidence that they have met their statutory
obligations.
Whilst the systems to recover scrap metal, paper wood cardboard
and clean plastics are well established a system to recover and
recycle contaminated plastics is not. Our Plastic Container Recycling
plant detailed on the previous page can help companies to meet their
statutory obligations and obtain P.R.N.’s. We do not trade in P.R.N.’s
but will provide full assistance to any company that wishes to use
our facility to recycle plastic containers.
