Training on Chemical Waste Handling

Procedures and Regulations are all essential to ensure that UK industry meets its statutory obligations. Whilst all the procedures required may be in place they are of little value if the staff required to operate them are not trained. We provide a full training package using overheads in a classroom environment. The course includes:

  • Chemical Waste Disposal Routes

  • Environmental Protection Act 1990

  • The Special Waste Regulations 1996

  • The Carriage of Dangerous Goods (Classification, Packaging and Labelling) and Use of Transportable Pressure Receptacle Regulations 1996

  • The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 1996

  • The Chemicals Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply Regulations 1994

  • The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste)Regulations 1997

The training is offered FREE OF CHARGE to all our Waste Management customers. The course can be tailored to management and/or operator level according to requirements.
