CLOSED SYSTEM TREATMENT (WITH BIOCIDE)

DESCRIPTION

GO-THERM CW25LB contains sodium nitrite, a copper corrosion inhibitor PLUS a broad spectrum, non-oxidising biocide. It is a very effective corrosion inhibitor for modern air conditioning chilled water systems, and hot water heating boilers. It is compatible with alcohol and glycol antifreezes. GO-THERM CW25LB gives added biological protection to prevent or reduce system contamination by the proliferation of bacteria. GO-THERM CW25LB is a complete, easily applied, single solution treatment, which provides economical waterside protection.

DOSING

4 litres of GO-THERM CW25LB per cubic metre water in system.

FEEDING

GO-THERM CW25LB is usually added to closed systems by utilising a pot feeder, or by a manually operated chemical injection pump.

TESTING AND CONTROL

A simple test procedure is available for control of GO-THERM CW25LB. Recommended normal concentration level is 800 – 1200 ppm as Nitrite

HANDLING

GO-THERM CW25LB is alkaline and contact with skin, eyes and clothing should be avoided. In case of contact flush with water. Open storage should be avoided. Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions.

SERVICE

Gower Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel. PACKAGING GO-THERM CW25LB treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 200 litre nonreturnable drums.
